Laboratory Capture Hoods for gases, vapors and Fumes

We also design and manufacture laboratory capture hoods. These specific hoods are designed for laboratories with the building exhaust system in place. We currently provide three products under the VENTONAMICS brand.

A downdraft fume extractor is a local ventilation system that controls airborne contaminants in industrial and laboratory settings. It consists of a work surface with an integrated ventilation system that draws air downward, capturing and removing pollutants and particulate matter generated during various processes. The downdraft exhaust typically has strategically placed grates or perforations on the work surface, allowing air to be pulled through and contaminants to be exhausted through ducts. 

Our laboratory capture hood is the perfect solution for researchers and scientists who require a reliable and efficient ventilation system. Weighing in at only 5 pounds, it is incredibly lightweight and can be easily moved to any workstation in the laboratory. Its unique aerodynamic design minimizes pressure loss, and the hood captures contaminants from three different directions, providing uniform air movement and capture velocity.
